#158626 - Problem replacing 89S8252. |
Due to lack of avaibilty of 89s8252 in Mumbai, I decided to replace 89s8252 with 89S8253. Both are pin to pin compatible, also they have similar internal flash data memory. 89s8253 has additional SFRs too.
My circuit has an 128x64 graphic lcd , few leds , and 485 interface. The only change that I made in the circuit was replacing crystal cap 33pf with 10pf as given in the manual. I downloaded the software in 89s8253.The circuit started functioning properly and it stills working. But I noticed that if the power is switched on/off rapidly sometimes display starts showing junk characters also 485 communication doesnot start. If I do the same thing by puttting 89s8252 I never get such a problem. What can be the cause? |
