(1) What Compiler? They all do it differently.
(2) They should be defined in a header file. That determines the register names. (3) Wild guessing is not going to work. (4) A standard 8051 has pseudo bi-directional ports. So yes it does not have any port direction settings. But there are many newer 8052 core CPUs that do. |
