#160339 - Look at some video codecs
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Video encoders from NXP (the old Philips) clock the pixel rate at 13.5 Mhz eg for PAL or NTSC.

So your CPU must clock the data out out 13.5MHz to do similar... Hence the CPU will need to be 10 times or more as fast....and 100% of CPU resources will be tied up doing just the video.

Most good digital video systems have a separate Video graphic IC(s)...and additional buffer.....as all the resources are tide up doing this,

See digital video encoders here
http://www.nxp.com/acrobat/l...015902.pdf

Eg SAA7128/ SAA7129 SAA7102/ SAA7103

These are just the video DAC.... a "sea" of high speed buffer memory is needed with the graphic image to drive these DAC..

Averlogic has some video buffers.
