Hi Ellappan!
When you write a high in a pin port, the source current the pin can give is quite low (check the data sheet - arround some tents of uA). You can possible use a darlington NPN if you relay is connected to a higher voltage than 5V or, if the relay voltage is 5V, write a low to activate the relay, and use a PNP transistor. The port pins can SINK a much bigger current than souce. Daniel |
