I'd guess this will be an AC line, and having a 240-volt P-P signal imposed on a, say, 4.7 KV line will be a trick, but it's achievable and recoverable.
The U.S. power companies "read the meter" over their lines, so, though the voltages will differ, it must work quite well. RE |
