1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + ... = total if one of the numbers varies, you get a different total. It is called a CHECKSUM. You compare it to the correct total. I would have thought that someone proficient in C could code that. If they are not familiar with any specific language, they should be able to write some pseudo-code. Then they would get lots of help. While I have a lot of sympathy for non-native English speakers, you can get online translations of Wiki articles. I suspect that there will be many non-English Wiki sites that would not even need translating. David. |
