Thanks Andy (and all others). got it now. I checked chapter2 (inst set). Effectively most operations using Rn are 1 cycle less than their direct access counter part (MOV A,Rn = 1 cycle, MOV A,direct = 2 cycles for example, this is the case for most instructions accepting both syntax).
Thank you very much. I'm coming from PIC world, and in PIC there is not direct access, banking is mandatory. This is why, seeing direct access, I didnt understood why did they provide banked access. Thanks again. Best regards |
