#161408 - Sorry Erik Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I got my minimum and maximum round the wrong way. The bus does not have a minimum rate or alternatively a clock cycle does not have a maximum time.
While we agree that not all devices have multiple bytes to read, I would still like to know the part number of any device that does multiple reads in a different manner. If you are doing a single read, you should end with an ACK. Unless of course you can suggest otherwise. I am not disputing that i2c protocol devices should not timeout. David. |
