Hi

I need some help to get my programs running from an EPROM (27C64-27C512) Up to now i have only used the internal flash memory of the atmel 89c51.

I think my hardware is set up correctly, i removed ALE/PROG from 5V and connected it to LE on te latch. I wrote a short program to toggle port 1 and stored it on the eprom. When scoping the eprom and the latch there is activity but my 89C51 seems to be dead ( No activity on the port im trying to toggle ). ALE is working. PSEN is not doing anything ( This doesnt seem correct ).

I would like to know if there is something i should write for the 89C51 to let it know that the program is on the EPROM. At the moment my 89C51 has no code.
