I am able to successfully do loop back test for my 8051 circuit. But my PC loop back test doesn't work either for VB or for Dos. I had given DB9(female) connections as per the given below link
http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/3450 and ran windows hyper terminal program. I had run third party software also given in the below link http://www.bb-europe.com/product.asp?sku=COMTEST.. Kindly help me how to get success in loop back test in PC.. My COM1 port configurations are set to 9600, No parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bits, None Flow - control. Note: I am able to connect to internet modem as dial-up using the same serial port |
