a DIO card means Distributed Input-Output system

Does it?

I think a more common interpretation would be "Digital IO"

This is why you need to be really careful to give a really complete, clear, and unambiguous description of what you have, what you're trying to achieve, what you've done so far, and what results you've achieved.

Remember: nobody reading this forum knows anything at all about you or your project other than what you explicitly state in your posts.

it is built around AT89s52 chip... and RS232 connectors..

That's rather vague.

thus

No, there is no "thus" about it - none of this follows inherently from anything that you have said.

programming is to be done in such a way that digital input from the port 1-3

What are "ports 1-3"

are taken to PC hyper terminal.

Actually, the PC and Hypoterminal are irrelevant: as far as the AT89S52 is concerned it makes no difference whether it's a PC, or another 8051, or a user sitting at a terminal - it's all just a matter of sending bytes out of its UART, and receiving bytes into its UART.

im talking about ASM code...

And how were we supposed to guess that from your initial post?
