Hello,

I am using VisISP-52 to program an AT89S8253 with mixed results. I am using the same ISP circuit as the 8052.com SBC.

When I write a HEX file, the progress window that appears while writing reports 'Byte errors' and 'Address errors'. I am getting about 20 of each of these errors, although it still appears to complete writing the program. When I erase the memory it does not report any errors. I am slightly concerned that this may be causing some problems with the operation of my microcontroller.

Does anyone know what the significance of these errors is, and also how I could get rid of them?
