Measure the resistance from ADC0L to GND. It could be a chip failure. Also see that nothing is pulling it down - mabey try and isolate it.

Should the resistance be the same across all the i/O ( coupla Meg) then have a look at the software .

What are you using to check ADC0L remember that this is a very sensitive quick toggling line and one might miss it.
