Well, the hardware part is already done... by me...
I asked here just because i think that for experts like you is very easy to do such a program.
If i use the eprom solution i'll need an eprom programmer!
And ds89c420 is programmable IN CIRCUIT and using serial port.
And another thing, the future plans are to expand the system to allow the outputs to flash.
Easy to do with an eprom and some and gates too, but you must redo all the circuit.
