Erik lol, actually there were a number of problems with my initial codes on the first post. First was the wrong values I set to TH1 for the baud rate that I wanted, then there's the problem where I was moving the values of memory location 41H instead of sending the letter A itself. That's why even when I fixed the 41H to #41H (#'A' in my case), the problem still existed, it was because of an incorrect baud rate setting. |
