Or in a simplified form: Would you use the internal oscillator and/or reset.
if a clock 'precision' of the max (tolerance + temp drift) of the oscillator is good enough (probably not for 115k UART) then use the oscillator. There has been many cases of LPCs "losing their mind" so i would use a supervisor. Erik |
