An unspecific answer (I don't know the 'CCxx line at all):
Some (most?) '51 derivatives do have unpublished test modes, usualy entered when reset with some particular combination of logic levels on their pins. Sometimes this is accomplished by pulling pins, which are normally outputs (/PSEN, ALE), to ground or VCC during reset. Sometimes then excessive (even if capacitive) load on these pins may invoke such test mode spuriously. JW |
