#164890 - Cross Posting, Whats Wrong? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I think there is nothing wrong in posting your queries on different sites(That is my opinion).
Floating same query on 2 or more different sites will make your query visible to more persons & can get more help. (e.g. there might be "Mr. ABC" who is member here but not a member there. On other hand "Mr. XYZ" who is member there but not here) Ofcourse, Same post on same site is not correct way. Andy Neil said:
It's not that there's one "correct" forum; the thing is, when cross-posting, you need to make clear that you've done it - so that people in one forum don't waste their time making an answer in one forum that's already been given in another.
I agree to Andy. Also once you get satisfactory answer on 1 site, post the same to other & give a link to answer so that others also will get some benefit (just a suggestion). Regards, Mahesh |
