#16496 - Signal Reconstruction |
I'm doing some research into sampling techniques and one that has been proposed is signal reconstruction. Basically, a signal (e.g. 250khz) is sampled at lower than the nyquist frequency (500khz) and the signal is reconstructed from the aliased signal. Anyone ever heard of this been done with a microcontroller?
Anyone have any tips. Not too sure it can be done but any help would be good. The signal we're using to test is an AM station, along with a ADuC812S. I think if the negative envolope is removed prior to sampling i could tell where the aliasing is occuring but i'm not too sure |
