C51 adds extensions to the ANSI 'C' standard to support the 8051 architecture, but it cannot add extensions to the chip's hardware or instruction set!
If you want to develop an 8051 variant where everything is bit addressable, that'd be great! You could search this forum to find VHDL models of the existing architecture as a starting point... Or maybe implement something in a Triscend E5... |
