#166874 - Still trying.. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hello Joe,
thanks for your support. But I am facing some wierd behaviour - I put the jumper in RESET on the MCB900 and try to read device ID through FM. First time I can see the reset happening and then the MCU starts executing my code ! However subsequently when I try to read the device ID, things are fine. >> If you are 100% sure you have reached the bootloader by monitoring activity on UART with the Flashmagic terminal program ... And that I have not been able to do at all. FM simply crashes. DO not know why? Normally the suspect will be the USB-RS232 convertor. But I have tried both IOGear and Prolific and they work fine when using FM with the RESET jumper. I know from remote it will be impossible for you to guess solutions. Maybe I should spend more time to understand the various aspects of this No-Touch stuff. Till then I will continue to use the RUN / RESET jumper and focus on finishing my code. Raghu |
