#16701 - Writing to flash memory in 89c51? |
Hi
I've had almost all of my experieicne in microcontrollers using flash memory to store the code, and this doubt is based on flash... I need to know if it is possible to write into the flash memory in an AT89c51 using external move commands such as movx. Do movx commands automatically assume that the memory is connected to ports 1 and 2? If that is not possible, is there anyway I could write to the flash memory at run-time? If not, what is the solution that would require the least extra circuit modifications? I am trying to make a simple adaptive system that will update a look-up table as per it's "experiences" during operation, and use these values for reference in subsequent sessions. If I can't do store the updates, the controller will have to "learn" the controls everytime it is reset Kundi |
