So its ONLY the LCD on the 36 way ? Is this a graphic LCD or a character one ? If its a character one, there's a chance its the standard Hitachi device from the tutorial. How about looking at the signals on the bus to the device as it is setup by the old code ? You'll need a logic analyser to catch it !
If you have the old code, or the disassembled version, can you see the classic initialisation codes in it, something like 38H, 38H, 06, 0C ? Steve |
