please can you tell, why your programmer not accept this hex file (which error message) ?
Since its impossible to help you on your problem without any informations ("cant work" was almost no information).

E.g. if you exceed the 64kB size, then the additional record type 02 was used to address memory above 64kB.

P.S.:
I must often repair some gadgets with the only error description "dont work".
In practice it doubles the repairing time and cost. So such behavior tells me, the customer have enough money to waste it, instead of writing some words more.
