Triacs are good in two specs:
- Great number of on-off operations
- Regulating power via phase control
- No phisical contact very good i.e. in explosive enviroment
Are bad in others
- An overcurrent will destroy it before a relay
- Dificult to work with inductive loads like motors etc
- The same relay can be used for AD, DC without changes, a triac only for AC

So may be will be useful a device with 6 relays for everything and two triacs only for bulb lamps that allosw power control and others.
