As far a I know is a modem standard configured to hang up when the DTE drops the DTR line.
When a DTE drops this line because its buffer is full this would cause a disconnect of the modem. The +++ is only used to temporarily go in command mode. A windows machine for example does not use this but drops the DTR line and then sends a ATH (hangup) command. regards, Joachim. |
