#171720 - Micro D.I.I. Reset question |
(D.I.I. = Do It Itself)
Having read 'ljmp in C' ( http://www.8052.com/forum/thread/171703 ) I was wondering if anyone had connected an 805x's output pin to its RESET pin, and used that to restart the micro. Yes, I know, (1) it's lousy form, (2) don't try this at home, (3) it wastes a pin, and (4) [add your own reason(s)], but I'm curious if it could work. --Rich |
