#171921 - 8052 keeping track of broken bottles Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Here is the solution that I found that work`s pretty good.
I was off with my count of the small bottles, it`s 15 small bottles. So here is the solution. It takes 10 big bottles or 15 small bottles to fill this box. The large bottles occupies 1.5 times the space of a small bottle. Or a small bottle uses 2/3 the space of a large bottle 3/3. So how many thirds ?/3 will the box hold (=30?) Create a subroutine which adds 2 to a counter in memory if a small bottle is procedded or 3 if it`s a large bottle. Use a greater than & equal to statement, that if the count is >30 conveyor brings in another box & reset the memory counts. Works pretty good. no scales to mess with, less brain damage. Now where is my prize that you all taked about? Thanks William Lipke |
