To do a proper, "hot" link is really clunky, but this is what you do:

[a href="your_url"]your_text[/a]

But put angle brackets '<' and '>' where I've put square brackets '[' and ']'

It's all just standard HTML

This will display your_text as a link, and clicking it will jump to your_url
