The previous designer passed away and his family wants a bunch of bucks before releasing any of his software and board designs. The company I am doing this evaluation for wants to continue with their products but with more control over the designs. I am trying to determine if I can drop in a ATMEL where a PIC was used (with a new board design) and support their future projects. They have the first of many rush projects due by Friday, a prototype by then, a board design and all software done by the following Friday. |
