Of course it's possible - but then you'd have to design your own PCI interface.
PCI is a high-speed, 32-bit (at least?) bus - so it might be a bit of a challenge for an 8052?

It'd probably be easier to dispense with the card and just do a design to talk straight to the chip?

Try searching for PCI here, as it has been discussed a few times.
