#174901 - Yes, it is Posible Responding to: ???'s previous message |
There is a company that sell such an Item for PIC chips.
The Programming Microcontroller would need a separate NVRAM (EEPROM, Flash, ect) to hold the program for the Target Microcontroller. Depending on the Target chip the Master could program it or the Target chip would need a bootloader. There are chips available with bult-in serial Bootloaders. Other that have the ability to run a bootloader. Optionally, you could just have a serial EEPROM that the Target chip could read and program itself. In short Very possible. The details depends on the requirements. |
