You have some readymade RTU SLAVE device and You are trying to build Your master device. If so - try first to connect RTU SLAVE to PC master , not to Your master. Her You can connect other PC to monitor serial conversation , or run on same PC underlaying software monitor/recorder for serial COM events.
If You are trying to buld SLAVE - same thing - USE MODBUS MASTER PC , probably with (nderlaying monitor/logger on serial COM . Or instead underlayng monitor - connect other PC to listen what MASTER and SLAVE talking aobout. regards |
