If you look under "electrical characteristics" usually they'll show a timing diagram that shows when ports are sampled. Usually this relates to a machine cycle which can be up to 12 clock cycles or as little as 1 clock cycle depending on the 8052/1 variants. Be careful, though, as there are propagation delays that may or may not be shown, but noted. |
