Well, since you are on an 8052 forum, you might guess we are a little prejudiced....but the 8052 and its descendants continues to expand, it is second sourced enhanced, speeded up, extended by EVERYONE. There are variants that work from 1.6 volts, there are variants that can clock at equivalent speeds of 100Mhz. There are 16 bit versions !

This is a proper CPU, it has a sensible interrupt structure and a sensibly flat memory model.

There is always a variant that has the combination of features you are looking for !
