I have a tech support query in at NXP, but I'm not holding my breath on an answer... We are doing a run of a legacy product that uses a P87C52SBPN and NXP now calls this P87C52SBPN,112. Anyone know what the 112 could possibly be? Due to customer approval process, we can't just drop in any old equivalent. Here is a link to the NXP page:
|pp=[t=pip,i=8XC51_8XC52]] I've seen that same weird nomenclature (specifically with an I2C bus level-shifter) and the answer I got from NXP support was, "the number after the comma refers to the packing method. This is explain (sic) in the PIP (Product Information Page)." The part I was looking at had a ,118 suffix, which apparently refers to reel packing (as opposed to bulk or tray or whatever). And, no, it was not explained in the data sheet or the product page. -a |
