The serial interrupt is the highest on the priority list, and that will screw up all interrupts such as timers and rotary encoders on external interrupts.
from "the bible": Note that the “priority within level” structure is only used to resolve simultaneous requests of the same priority level. I regularly use a separate reg bank for certain interrupt routines unless you have the IP "off default" you use the same for all Erik |
