Let me tell some words about RCHPSIM. It’s an IDE, made to look like IDEs Borland made in it’s Turbo * languages. It contains an editor, compiler, and integrated debugger / emulator. And that ugly bug ;-). It’s written in Borland C++ 4.02, and the user interface is classical Turbo Vision.

Does the metalink assembler you mentioned contain an emulator?

I have tried with and without the final END, and there is no difference. Even the tutorial programs are without END at the end. I tried Keil’s assembler, without the finishing END, and an error had been reported, but not with RCHPSIM. However, thanks for the try, sometimes such a small detail can be the solution.
