#17839 - RE: Assembling with RCHPSIM problem |
Erik:
My superior insists on using RCHPSIM, so that’s probably it. Nevertheless, thanks for the link. Let me tell some words about RCHPSIM. It’s an IDE, made to look like IDEs Borland made in it’s Turbo * languages. It contains an editor, compiler, and integrated debugger / emulator. And that ugly bug ;-). It’s written in Borland C++ 4.02, and the user interface is classical Turbo Vision. Does the metalink assembler you mentioned contain an emulator? Michael: I have tried with and without the final END, and there is no difference. Even the tutorial programs are without END at the end. I tried Keil’s assembler, without the finishing END, and an error had been reported, but not with RCHPSIM. However, thanks for the try, sometimes such a small detail can be the solution. Ivan |
