#17862 - Access address space |
Hi all,
I have a parallel EEPROM AT28C64 configured (in hardware) as an external memory device. Meaning, dedicate chip select mapped on address 0x8000 to 0x9FFF (8KB). I access the EEPROM with the “_at_” statement (“volatile uchar xdata EEPROM_CS _at_ 0x8000;”). By doing so, I can access only address 0x8000. The question is how can I access the rest of the memory space? I have the same basic problem with the SRAM (61C256); I want to write walking 1 walking 0 test, but I don’t know how to increment address location by one. P.S. My code is in C. Thanks a lot for your help, Roberto |
