Thanks for your reply! 1. The micro is fine, since it switches the BC517 transistors I subsistuted the FETs with perfectly. 2. The strange plastic bag the FETs came in (from the supplier) was suspect, that's why I built the 2051 circuit to verify their operation. 3. Tested the port pin with a logic probe, the output pin is low but the FET remains ON. 4. I did confuse the FET's pins before, so I checked and double checked that I got them right this time! :-) Hehehe... I did mention exactly what I meant in a later post. Basically that the FET will not turn off, even if the gate is connected directly to ground. |
