When I said 32.768Khz would yield "approx. 1 sec " , I was referring to the "actual" frequency of the crystal which may not be bang on at that frequency. And yes that 2^47 bit time stamp does look a tad bit laaaarge for my application ;-) I will be happy with the 47 bit timer !! Will now ask Prof Google for some "gimme code" Raghu |
