You mentioned a "sensitivity" of eight levels, but the context sounded like you were talking about resolution.
if you mean 8 levels, rather than 8 bit resolution, 8 (two quad chips) comparators for 8 levels with the most sensitive of the 8 connected to an interrupt pin would give a dead simple design. Erik |
