This is an interesting project so I spent some time to take a look at the number of patterns involved. Looks like in the following chart that 69 states are required.
(the above was created in Excel. Let me know if you want a copy of it) One could use a simple loop to scan through this table. The table could be in the CODE space and provide the chance to use the MOVC instuction. Have fun. Michael Karas |
