I am sorry I was unable to reply earlier, but exams came up and it was just one thing after the other. You know how it is.....
To answer everything:
If you put it together it costs about 10 dollars. I am not selling it for 10!! Gimme a break guys, I worked on it for two months.
It decodes ordinary IR remotes.
It dos'nt work with IRDA cause I can not think of any applications where IRDA would be used for repetetive IR transmission(like in a remote control)
You can pay any way comfortable to you, bank draft, electronics transfer etc...
