Why put a '245 in-between? What need is there for a bus tranceiver unless there is longer cables or large capacitances involved? What need is there for dual-direction if the signals doesn't need to switch direction?
The 74HC595 isn't hard to drive. And the 74HC595 is well capable of driving the 8051. |
