Start with a very simple program - such as the simples, most basic "blinky" - and see if that will "work" (sic) on both chips.
 If it does, then build up your program piece-by-piece from there, testing each piece as you go. This should help you isolate where the problem occurs and, thus, enable you to focus your efforts...  |
