max capacitor value depends of:
- max allowed capacitive load of PC RS driver - You cannot know what iside PC , but can use SP232 specifications for start point; - max used baudrate - in practice You can observe what distortion in signal is caused by capacitor (on RX pin of converter) and make decision ; regards |
