#183600 - SMS Responding to: ???'s previous message |
1. Use text mode.
 2. Different modems reply in different way, from echo to AT+COLP, even for the same AT version firmware. More over, initial configuration settings of modems are different. Explicitly code the configuration unless you like surprises. Test the code with atleast 3 modems. We use SIM900, 2 different versions of wavecom. 3. When you are waiting for an OK from modem, you might receive an SMS and may be a cell broadcast. So handle your stages with these in mind. 4. We use a small application developed by us, a pass-through bridge application that stands in between micro and modem. We keep in on for some period to log and analyze the serial communication. PC needs to have 2 com ports. If you need it, please let me know. Regards, Raj Nambiar |
