#18368 - BASIC ROM & 8032 |
Hello world...
I am just trying to build my 1st uC circuit. I wanted to build a 8032 uC & Basic ROM. However, most of the references I have seen are using 8052 or 8752 (8052 w/ Flash ROM build in) I just want to ask if it is possible to do it w/ a 8032 and external EPROM? If so, any references in web sites? My understanding is if I use external EPROM, I will lose some I/O pins because of the need for accessing the Data & Address bus for the EPROM. Am I correct? Ideally I want to build (maybe my 2nd uC circuit) a 8032 board w/ firmware on EPROM and a Flash Memory for me to store my code for testing & developement. Any do-it-yourself plans on Internet? Thanks in advance! Derek |
