I'm new to programming (C) so used ready initialization code. Unfortunately C code Examples for 4 bit interface for silabs MCU i have not found. I had to adapt the code for the SiLabs c8051f314.
first, if you do not understand the "C code Examples", you WILL be lost, I recall no "C code Examples" that did not need a tweak. second, the most likely cause for your problems are timing (the SILabs processors haul ass compared to most) and I/O, the SILabs chips do not have the "brief strong pullup" Erik |
